Brake Pads
When it comes to safety, a vehicle's brake pads are one of the most important components in your braking system. The brake pads grip the rotor when you step on the brake pedal and they slow the rotation of the wheels, eventually bringing you to a stop. Brake pads undergo a lot of heat in this process and are under extreme conditions, which will cause them to wear out over time. When they do wear down, it's important to have the old ones replaced. Some signs that your brake pads may need to be replaced are squeaking and squealing noises while braking or it may take you longer to stop than normal. You may also have a brake light lit on your dashboard, or you may even just notice that your brake pad lining is low. You should regularly check and replace your brake pads as part of performing routine maintenance on your vehicle. All brake pads will eventually wear out and will need to be replaced. There's no getting away from that. If you need new brake pads, here at Parts Discounters you can find genuine OEM brake pad replacements.
